Final Meeting of Winter 09

By Pat

This week will be a shorter meeting to hammer out what we want to do over the next term including.

  1. Advertising (New posters, revising old posters, strip banners for the stairs ect…)
  2. Machine project (Display Shelf, making it work, new products)
  3. ASUO membership
  4. Film Fest

If we could get as many people as we can this would be great to get everyone’s input on this.

The Meeting is 5-6 in the hearth on Wednesday.

2 New Job Opportunities

By Pat

The Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Living Website

The The Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Living needs a new website and has a position ready for someone. This is not paying but is available for internship credit.

This is also on campus and would be a great opportunity. I will not be going for this position but I’ll help anyone who wants it.

Catholic Community Services Website and Brochures

Ben Benson is a Journalism major who contacted me wondering if someone in ASDA would have the time to make the advice his class gave the Catholic Community Services on their website and also design new brochures based on their advice from a PR class.

This would be a GREAT freelance portfolio builder. If no one emails me back in a week I might take this up. This would be a pro-bono job.

How to get these jobs

Contact me at parlt@uoregon.edu or asda@uoregon.edu and I’ll give you the contact details for these people.
